For years, Ketel One Vodka has been a proud supporter of the LGBTQ community and along with other sponsors, they celebrated the achievements of activists at Atlanta’s 2018 GLAAD Gala. GLAAD (GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders) is an organization that works to help end discrimination based on sexual orientation.

Every year, GLAAD honors members of the community that are making a difference for LGBTQ rights. This year, the Gala honored activists-like Amiyah Scott, the first black transgender woman to become an actor on a mainstream television show (Star on Fox). Aside from the main program, the night also included an art silent auction and guests were able to mix and mingle while enjoying Ketel One cocktails like the Ketel Mule. My personal fave, was my own concoction of Ketel Oranje and ginger beer garnished with grapefruit. Proceeds from the gala benefit GLAAD’s work to accelerate acceptance of the LGBT community.
